We collect information you provide directly (name, email, role, company) and information generated by your use of the Platform (blueprints uploaded, estimates generated, projects created). We also collect standard usage data (IP address, browser type, pages visited) via cookies and analytics tools.
We use your information to: provide and improve the Platform; generate AI estimates from your uploaded blueprints; send transactional emails (account confirmations, estimate ready notifications); communicate product updates; and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
Files you upload (blueprints, plans, photos) are transmitted securely to our servers and third-party AI processors (including OpenAI) solely to generate your estimates. Files are stored securely in AWS S3. We do not use your blueprint data to train AI models without your explicit consent.
We share data only with: service providers necessary to operate the Platform (AWS, OpenAI, Stripe); legal authorities when required by law; and successors in the event of a business acquisition. All third-party providers are contractually required to protect your data.
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. Project and estimate data is retained for 3 years after account closure unless you request earlier deletion. Uploaded blueprint files may be deleted after 90 days of inactivity to reduce storage costs.
You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data at any time by contacting us at info@vegaplans.com. You may also request a copy of your data in portable format. California residents have additional rights under CCPA.
We use industry-standard security measures including TLS encryption in transit, AES-256 encryption at rest, and role-based access controls. However, no system is perfectly secure and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We use cookies for authentication, session management, and analytics. You may disable cookies in your browser settings, though some Platform features may not function correctly without them.
The Platform is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
